The name iNut originated from iNút — the wifi switch button, with the letter “i” standing for intelligent · internet · integration. By January 2018, the team dropped the diacritic to become iNut, making it easier for international customers to read. Behind that simple name lies a very down-to-earth ambition: to build an Internet-of-Things (IoT) connectivity infrastructure so that every developer can create IoT products without having to build the infrastructure from scratch.

The journey from a button to a platform
In just over a year, iNut went from a wifi switch idea to a complete IoT platform with drag-and-drop programming:

Core technology: drag-and-drop & 3-layer security
iNut turns IoT programming — which normally requires tens of thousands of lines of code — into intuitive drag-and-drop blocks. At the same time, data is protected by 3-layer tiered security built on an edge computing model: the master key resides right on the customer's device, and only the customer holds authority over it — even the iNut team cannot access it without permission.
