At each electrical cabinet, iNut collects current, voltage, power consumption, cabinet temperature & humidity, breaker/relay open/closed status, along with an ambient light sensor to tell whether it's dark yet. As a result, a dead LED module, a lost phase, or a cabinet starting to overheat abnormally all show up immediately in the data, instead of waiting for someone to go check.
Wireless Connectivity — every sign a data point, no cabling
Advertising signs are scattered across rooftops, tall poles, or intersections — running signal cables to every single point is simply not feasible. iNut RS485 / WiFi Mesh transmits data wirelessly, automatically chaining into a wide-coverage network, and can run on solar power at sites where control power is hard to get. Data from every cabinet is gathered at iNut PC on the edge layer to aggregate, run logic, and uplink over 4G, then push to the cloud.

Automatic On/Off — by schedule & by light sensor
No one needs to climb up and flip a breaker every evening. Set the schedule once: at the right time, iNut closes the relay to turn the sign on; late at night, within a set time window, it dims or turns off to save power. Combined with a light sensor, if it gets dark early because of a storm, the sign still comes on right on cue. Every threshold is adjustable remotely via the iNut app, applied to a single point or an entire cluster at once.
Instant Alerts — power loss, overheating, and broken lights, all known right away
The worst thing isn't the fault itself, it's a fault nobody knows about. iNut PC keeps constant watch: a lost phase, a voltage dip, a cabinet exceeding its temperature threshold, an abnormal current drop signaling a dead LED strip, or a sign that should be lit but stays dark — all of these trigger an alert via Email/Telegram immediately, complete with the exact sign code and fault type. The technical team heads to the field with a clear target instead of patrolling blind.
Real-time Monitoring — the entire sign network on one screen
Every advertising point shows up on a single SCADA dashboard in the iNut Platform (self-hosted cloud): which point is lit, which one has a fault, hourly power consumption, and daily energy charts. iNut Datalogger stores the history for reconciliation; iNut OPC (OPC UA / Modbus / XML-DA) helps integrate the data into an existing management system. Out in the field, a technician just opens the iNut app to see exactly the signs they're responsible for.
