Traditional environmental monitoring is laborious: staff go out to the field to collect samples, bring them to a laboratory, and get results days later — while pollution is happening right now. Data is fragmented, one device per parameter, recorded by hand in a logbook, and no one sees the full realtime picture. By the time dust levels exceeding the threshold or abnormal wastewater discharge are detected, the incident happened long ago.

An environmental monitoring station doesn't have to be this complex and costly. iNut brings IoT right to the measuring point: sensors that measure continuously, a gateway that transmits wirelessly, a platform that aggregates data and triggers alerts, and a realtime map for everyone to see. Measurement — air, water, dust & noise

A good monitoring station starts with dedicated sensors that measure the right parameters. iNut simultaneously connects air quality sensors (CO, NO₂, SO₂, O₃), fine dust sensors (PM2.5, PM10), noise sensors (dB), and water quality sensors (pH, dissolved oxygen DO, turbidity, temperature) — all feeding into a single gateway, read in real time.

Wireless connectivity — powered by the sun, no cable runs

Monitoring stations are often placed in difficult spots: riverbanks, wastewater discharge points, busy intersections, industrial zones. iNut uses iNut RS485 to read sensors and transmits the data via WiFi Mesh or LoRa — no need to run long signal cables. Power comes from a solar battery, while iNut PC at the edge layer aggregates the data and uplinks over 4G to the platform. Install once, and the data flows in automatically.

Automatic threshold control — dust suppression, valves, fans

Monitoring isn't just for "watching." Set a threshold once, and iNut PC continuously compares the data and automatically controls devices via relay: dust exceeds the threshold → the mist dust-suppression system and exhaust fan switch on; abnormal water discharge → a valve closes; once conditions are met, it stops automatically. A closed loop of measure – analyze – control, with no need for staff on standby.

Instant alerts — Email & Telegram

When a threshold is exceeded, you need to know right away — not wait until the end of the day to open a report. iNut PC monitors continuously and pushes alerts via Email and Telegram the instant any parameter exceeds its limit — including the measured value, timestamp, and station name. The person in charge gets the message on their phone and can act early, while the issue is still small.

Realtime map & dashboard — the whole network in view

Data from every station converges on iNut Platform — a self-hosted cloud platform with a SCADA-style dashboard. Each station is a point on the realtime map, colored by AQI level; click it to bring up the chart for each parameter, with historical data powered by iNut Datalogger. Need to integrate with an existing system? iNut OPC speaks OPC UA/Modbus/XML-DA. View everything on a computer or right on the iNut app.

Out in the sun and rain, by riverbanks or discharge points, the iNut station keeps running reliably thanks to its solar battery and wireless transmission, with a sealed enclosure resistant to dust and moisture. Install once and data flows automatically to the platform; adding another station is just a matter of duplicating the configuration. From a single measuring point to a regional monitoring network, the model scales either way.
