In many factories, pump stations, irrigation areas, or farms, switching equipment on and off still means walking all the way there to flip a breaker. Measuring & reading device status
To control correctly, you first need to "see" correctly. At each point, iNut reads sensor signals (water level, pressure, temperature, current, flow rate) and the device's contact status through digital inputs or Modbus RS485. That way, every on/off command comes with a real response: whether the pump is running or stopped, whether the valve is fully open, whether the cabinet is reporting a fault.
LoRa reaches for kilometers — Ethernet covers the plant
This is the core of it. For scattered outdoor points — a pump station at the end of a canal, an irrigation cabinet in the middle of a field, a float sensor on a pond — LoRa carries control signals and data up to kilometers away, through walls and tree canopy, with ultra-low power consumption that runs well on solar power. Inside a plant with existing network infrastructure, use Ethernet / WiFi Mesh for low latency and stability. Both feed into a single iNut gateway, then uplink over 4G when reaching the Internet is needed.
Automatic relay switching by threshold
Instead of watching and flipping switches by hand, you set the rules once: water level drops low → turn on the pump, tank full → shut off; temperature exceeds threshold → run the fan; overcurrent → cut power for protection. The logic runs right on iNut PC at the edge layer, so it keeps working even without Internet, and the relay reports its status so you know the command was executed.
Email/Telegram alerts when something goes wrong
Remote control only gives you peace of mind when you're notified the moment something's off. iNut PC monitors continuously and pushes alerts via Email/Telegram when: a value exceeds threshold, a relay doesn't respond correctly to a command, a device loses connection, or a LoRa node has weak signal or low battery.
