For shrimp farmers, water quality is the lifeline of the entire crop. Just one night of oxygen dropping too low sends shrimp gasping at the surface; a swing in pH or a sudden change in salinity after a heavy rain is enough to shock them, stop them eating, slow their growth and gradually thin out the stock. The trouble is that the most dangerous swings usually happen between 2 and 4 a.m., exactly when it's hardest for people to keep watch — having to shine a torch out at the pond, measure by hand, and guess when to switch the fan on or off.

Wireless WiFi Mesh transmission — powered by sunlight

Shrimp farming areas usually spread across many ponds, along riverbanks, far from home, with unreliable grid power. iNut solves this with outdoor stations running on solar power that transmit data wirelessly over a WiFi Mesh network: stations relay the signal to each other, covering a wide pond area without running long cables. Automatic aeration — turning the fan on right when oxygen drops

This is the part where iNut takes over the most stressful job from people. Just set the threshold once: dissolved oxygen drops below the safe threshold → the aerator fan turns on automatically, stirring the water and adding oxygen; once DO recovers high enough, the fan switches off on its own to save power. The whole cycle runs automatically, even at 3 a.m. — something manual watching can never keep up with, and can never do consistently.

Automatic aeration is the first line of defense; early warning is the second. When the water crosses a dangerous threshold — oxygen dropping abnormally low, pH drifting off, or temperature and salinity shifting suddenly after rain — iNut instantly pushes an alert via Email and Telegram to the farmer's phone. You get woken up exactly when it matters, in time to change the water, dose minerals, or boost aeration before the shrimp go into shock.
