Remote Vessel & Truck Location Tracking with iNut: Realtime Map, Route History & Geofence Alerts
Track your fleet of vessels and trucks remotely with the iNut platform: realtime map, route replay, and geofence & speeding alerts via Email/Telegram. Wireless connectivity over WiFi Mesh · LoRa · 4G, solar-powered, automatic anti-theft engine cutoff — manage your whole fleet right from your phone.

Manual fleet management always has a blind spot: once a vessel heads out to sea, you lose contact; once a truck leaves the depot, you have no idea where it's stuck; to find out where anything is, you have to call and ask around. Late deliveries, customer complaints, unexplained fuel loss, even vehicles running the wrong route or being stolen — all of it gets discovered after it's too late.
GPS tracking is more than a dot on a map. With iNut, it's a continuous stream of coordinate data, drawn into routes, checked against safe zones and speed thresholds, then turned into automatic alerts at the right moment — so you can make decisions while there's still time, instead of reconstructing events after the fact.
GPS tracking — know every coordinate precisely
At the heart of the solution is a GNSS receiver (GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou) fitted to every vehicle. It picks up signals from multiple satellites, calculates latitude–longitude, speed, and heading accurate to within a few meters, then combines this with sensor data such as fuel level, engine status, and reefer temperature. It's all packaged into a lightweight message, updated continuously every few seconds.
Wireless connectivity — data comes through whether offshore or on the highway
Vehicles move, so the transmission path has to be flexible. Around yards, warehouses, and ports, devices talk to each other over iNut WiFi Mesh; on long-haul routes or in areas with sparse coverage, LoRa carries position packets for kilometers at ultra-low power; and when wide-area realtime data is needed, iNut PC at the edge layer aggregates the data and uplinks over 4G to the cloud. Whether a vessel is out at sea or a truck is crossing provinces, coordinates keep flowing in steadily.
Realtime map & route replay
On the iNut Platform SCADA dashboard and in the iNut app, every vehicle is a live dot moving across the map. You see its current position, instant speed, and can replay the entire journey of a day: which route a truck took, where and for how long it stopped, where a vessel was anchored. Thanks to iNut Datalogger recording every single point, no journey is ever missed.
Geofence & speeding alerts — instant Email/Telegram
Draw a safe zone (geofence) around a port, warehouse, or approved route; set a maximum speed threshold. When a vehicle leaves the zone, deviates from its route, or exceeds the speed limit, iNut PC instantly pushes an alert via Email and Telegram with the coordinates and timestamp. For fishing fleets, this is also the alert boundary for when a vessel strays outside its permitted fishing zone.
Threshold-based control — anti-theft & staying on route
Monitoring is only half the story; iNut also acts on thresholds. When it detects a vehicle leaving its position outside working hours or being moved without authorization, the system can trigger a starter-cutoff relay / engine lock as an anti-theft measure; for refrigerated trucks, a temperature threshold breach will trigger an alert and log the event. All control rules run right on iNut PC at the edge layer, so the response is instant even when the network is unstable.
Field-ready durability — solar-powered, install once
Devices mounted on vehicles must withstand sun, rain, vibration, and locations with no stable power. The iNut RS485 / WiFi Mesh station runs on solar power, with a waterproof enclosure and wireless transmission — suited to both long-haul trucks and offshore vessels. Install it once and data flows in automatically; the operations team just watches the screen.

What do you gain from fleet & vessel tracking?
Know exactly where every vessel and truck is at all times — no more phone calls or guesswork.
Track route progress and catch delays early so you can dispatch in time and keep customers' trust.
Alerts for route deviation and unauthorized movement, plus anti-theft engine lock — protecting assets and cutting fuel losses.
Route history, distance traveled, stop times — clear data to optimize fleet and vessel operations.
The road is still long — the difference is that now you can see it
Vessels still head out to sea, trucks still roll down the road as they always have; what's new is that every trip now leaves a trail of data — a route you can replay, a safe zone that speaks up on its own, a vehicle that locks itself when something is wrong. GPS tracking, in the end, turns vague worry into information you hold in your hands.
Right now, where are your trucks and vessels — and are you sure you know?
